Why the Google Pixel 4 XL remains a compelling compact phone in Pakistan
The Google Pixel 4 XL represents one of Google's most distinctive hardware designs, offering a fast 90Hz OLED display and Snapdragon processing starting from Rs. 33,999. Supported up to Android 13 with 6GB of RAM, the Pixel 4 XL handles multitasking, banking, social feeds, and casual gaming with noticeable fluidity compared to budget 60Hz alternatives. Its compact dimensions make it comfortable for single-handed use across daily commutes.
PTA Status and SIM Options for Pixel 4 XL
Available in Non-PTA status, the Google Pixel 4 XL fits both daily primary and secondary device setups. Official PTA Approved units provide permanent DIRBS clearance across all Pakistani cellular networks with zero risk of blocking. Network Supported (CPID/Patch) devices offer active SIM services for calling and LTE data at a major discount. Non-PTA units are ideal for secondary Wi-Fi usage, hotspot tethering, or content creation.
Camera Capabilities: Dual Sensors with 2x Optical Telephoto
The dual rear camera setup on the Google Pixel 4 XL pairs a 12.2MP primary sensor with a dedicated 16MP 2x optical telephoto lens. Super Res Zoom combines optical data with multi-frame fusion to produce crisp zoom shots of architectural details, lecture slides, and distant landmarks across Pakistani cities. Astrophotography mode enables long-exposure stargazing shots in northern areas, while Dual Exposure controls let you dial in shadows and highlights independently under harsh midday sun.
Smooth 90Hz Display and Battery Care in Warm Weather
The Smooth Display technology dynamically ramps up to 90Hz for silky scrolling in everyday apps. In hot ambient weather, high screen brightness combined with 90Hz refresh rate uses battery more rapidly. ZELLEN tests thermal response to ensure normal operating temperatures during charging and regular browsing, recommending an 18W USB-PD adapter for reliable charging health.
